How often do you cook it?

It (chicken) is so favorite in the United States that it’s cooked almost every day in every kitchen here (physically over wealthy angels may avoid it). It’s very easy to cook and you can make thousands of different dishes using its soft flesh.

It also becomes my number one cooking item to keep me trying new recipes during this locked down. I was looking for cooking another new chicken dish today and my sister in law told me (over phone) to have a try this easy chicken recipe.

Recipe name: Spicy chicken nuggets

I have started to try my hand at cooking chicken nuggets. My husband has a habit of never complaining while eating as he doesn’t want to disrespect the heavenly gift (food). Thankfully my sister came to visit me (of course maintaining the proper distance) so I now know exactly how those nuggets tasted.

The nuggets were so good that she thought I bought those spicy chicken biscuits from a restaurant. Anyway, this is a very simple recipe and hopefully tastes as good as my sister said (Hopefully sisterly love didn’t blind her judgement).

Ingredients:

Chicken breast (boneless) — 10–12 pieces

Tomato ketchup- 2 tbsp

Corn flour –1 ½ tbsp

Garlic -2 cloves

Whole red chilli-3 nos

Vinegar -2 tsp

Extra virgin olive Oil — 3 tsp

Salt to taste

Bread crumbs- 1 cup

Black pepper (powdered)- 1 tsp

Oil for deep frying

Marination:

Mix olive oil & vinegar together and soak the red chilli & garlic for an hr. Blend it into a smooth paste ( it is okay if the mixture is a little coarse . Add the corn flour, tomato ketchup and salt and mix. Put the chicken pieces in the Marination mixing till the chicken is covered in the batter and keep it in the refrigerator for 3–4 hrs .

Frying:

Mix it together bread crumbs, black pepper & salt on a plate. Take out the chicken pieces from the fridge and roll them one by one on the bed of bread crumbs so that they are completely covered in them. Deep fry them till golden brown color. Serve them instantly with garlic mayo sauce.

Tip: You can coat the nuggets in bread crumbs and refrigerate them before frying.
