Does your dream let you sleep?

I’ve seen so many people working till midnight though they start their day very early. When I see them busy in the morning, it seems to me that they are the true followers of the wise saying -

Early to bed and early to rise

makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.

Yes, they are undoubtedly wealthy because poor can never afford to change their BMW every year.

But, when I get them busy even in the midnight I think there is something wrong with their dream.

When I was a teenager, my dream was to own a cheapest private jet and then taking a selfie sitting on one of its wings. When someone asked me about my dream, I simply told it and they replied with lough out loud that it’s a day dream.

They knew my background, they knew my family history. So, maybe they were right about my dream.

So, I also wanted to change my dream. Specially, after completing my graduation, I seriously wanted to change that dream. But, could not…

Whenever I got any job offer, I started calculating how much time will it take to save that dream amount (to buy a jet). As a result, those offers did get no response from me.

My dad started scolding me because of not joining any job. My friends also started avoiding me (maybe they were too busy to maintain their new life with new job). Then I seriously wanted to change my dream. But could not change it.

Suddenly my dad stopped giving me my pocket money. I can’t forget that day. I cried out loud, but nobody listened to me. Then I realized how much wrong my dream is.

But no result. I couldn’t change it and to make my living I started writing. Since then I’m writing. As a writer I’ve to read a lot.

But my main interest is to read the golden biography of the billionaires. I was looking for a billionaire who made his asset without establishing any giants like Microsoft or Facebook or oil companies and fortunately I got someone who becomes a billionaire from writing. I’m sure you all know her name.

This is the first motivation I’ve got to keep my dream unchanged. It inspired me so much that I dived more deep into writing.

But unfortunately I’ve discovered that I’ve no such ability to write novel, I even don’t like poetry or long form writings. The only thing I love to write is short story.

And I’m sure this genre can never bring me those dream wings. So, I can’t sleep at night. All night long, I keep looking at the sky. Sometimes it becomes dark and sometimes Moon makes it awesome.

Anyway, how about your dream?
